The Multan Sultans performed well in the Pakistan Super League after beating Karachi Kings by 52 runs in a one-sided match.


In the match played at Multan Cricket Stadium, the Multan Sultans started batting at the invitation of the Karachi Kings. In the beginning, Moin Ali against Muhammad Amir appeared to be in trouble, but Zeeshan Ashraf was aggressive in the other end.

Zeeshan took an aggressive approach against Asif Asif and, looking at his aggressive batting, brought Iftikhar Ahmed to the Karachi Kings captain Emad Wasim bowling and tried to catch Babar Azam in an attempt to get a big shot on his first ball, He scored 23 runs.

Subsequently, Sean Masood came along with Moin Ali and both players showed responsible batting, Moin Ali initially made a defensive bet, after which he aggressively applied and completed his half century.
Both players set up a 71-run stand for the second wicket, with Shawn Masood contributing just 11 runs.

Moin Ali returned the pavilion after scoring 65 off 42 balls with four sixes and four boundaries.


Riley Rosso's stay on wicket was too short and he returned to the pavilion with only 8 runs.


Sean Masood initially took a cautious approach, aggressively completing his half-century with an unbeaten 61 and was dismissed for 61, which enabled the Multan Sultans to set up a difficult set.

Ravi Bopara also became Mohammad Amir's second wicket after hitting a six, while Khushal Shah also failed to play a big shot.

In the closing overs, Multan Sultan's team failed to score much faster and scored 186 runs in the loss of six wickets in the stipulated overs.

Karachi Kings Muhammad Amir and Chris Jordan took 2 wickets.

Karachi Kings opener Sharjeel Khan started the innings when he appeared in the traditional offensive mode but was declared LBW for failing to pull a ball from Moin Ali.

Babar Azam and Alex Hales put the score at 45 but Mohammad Irfan took a superb catch at the ball of Mohammad Irfan to end Babar's innings.

Alex Hales had a catch drop but failed to take advantage of it and after scoring 29 runs, Shahid Afridi was the only wicket keeper.

The Karachi Kings did not even handle the loss so that Imran Tahir completed the task of Cameron Delport in the next over and gave his team the fourth success.

captain  imad Wasim also left the team in the middle of the inning while Chadol Walton's innings was limited to 15 runs.

Chris Jordan and Iftikhar Ahmed also failed to play big innings and were dismissed for 13 and 7, respectively.

After that, the Karachi Kings could not face the Multan Sultans' bowling for too long and the whole team collapsed to 134 runs.
Multan Sultans have regained the first position on the points table after beating Karachi Kings by 52 runs.

Imran Tahir took 3 wickets while Sohail Tanveer and Shahid Afridi took 2 wickets.

Moin Ali was declared the best player of the match by taking a half-century and a wicket.

Earlier, in the 10th match of the event, Karachi Kings captain Emad Wasim won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Multan Sultans captain Sean Masood said he would try to score as much as possible to defend the target.

The two teams made one change for the match where Multan Sultans replaced Ravi Bopara in the final XI for James Vince, while the Karachi Kings replaced Omar Khan with Arshad Iqbal.
