T20 World Cup:South Africa beat Pakistan in Women's World Cup

South Africa made it to the semi-final by beating Pakistan by 17 runs in the crucial match of the Women's T20 World Cup, thanks to Laura Wallard's aggressive half-century.
South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first in the match played in Sydney at the Australia Women's World Cup.
Thanks to Diana Baig's excellent bowling, Pakistan scored two victories early in the match and the South African team lost both openers on 17 runs.
At this stage, Marijne Cop and Magnus du Preeze handled the batting line, setting up a 37-run partnership for the third wicket to reach 54.Before this partnership proved to be a dangerous one, Nada Dar smashed the wickets of Prez while the South African team had lost 4 wickets when the Cops returned 31 runs on an overall score of 64.

Pakistan's openers provided the team with an 18-run start, but after losing three wickets in a row, the national team lost three players for 26 runs.
Aaliyah Riaz came in with the help of captain Jurya Khan and the duo set up a partnership of 29 runs to bring the score to 55.
In the meantime, the required run rate went up sharply and the Pakistani women's team did not try aggressive batting on any occasion without realizing the circumstances, resulting in only 119 runs despite losing five wickets in the stipulated overs.
