Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars by 10 wickets in the crucial match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).Chasing a target of 151, Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan of Karachi did not let a single of the bowlers in Lahore and beat their team without any loss while playing a shot around the ground.

Karachi scored the desired target in the 17th over of the innings.

Sharjeel Khan scored 74 off 59 balls with the help of 5 fours and five sixes, while Babar Azam scored 69 off 46 balls with a six and eight fours.
Sharjeel Khan was named the best player of the match on the spectacular batting.

Earlier, Lahore started the batting at the invitation of Karachi, while its openers Fakhr Zaman and Captain Sohail Akhtar set up a partnership of 49 runs.

Chris Lin teamed up with Sohail Akhtar to extend the score, but he also left the captain with 5 runs on a total score of 72.Lahore offensive batsman Ben Dink also failed to score a big one and was bowled out by Emaid Asif for 9 runs.

Sohail Akhtar scored an impressive 68 runs with the help of 8 fours and two sixes, after which Arshad Iqbal took him out of LW.Lahore's fifth outing was Smita Patel, who scored 5 runs on 133 balls.

Pakistan failed to score much due to the aggressive batsman's intermittent outing and scored 150 runs in the loss of five wickets in the stipulated overs.Mohammad Hafeez (35) and David Weez (5) were not out.

From Karachi, Umaid Asif and Arshad Iqbal were 2 for 2, while Chris Jordan struck out one.The Lahore Qalandars had to suffer defeat after four successive matches.Lahore were victorious after a thrilling match in the first match between the two teams at Gaddafi Stadium. 

Decision to hold matches in Karachi without fans

On the other hand, Sindh government has decided to hold PSL matches in Karachi from Friday without fans.

The decision was taken at a provincial government task force meeting on the Corona virus.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Media Office, Murad Ali Shah said, 'Today's match will have fans but tomorrow and other matches will be in closed stadium and fans will not be allowed to go'.
