Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings by 8 wickets in the 23rd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, thanks to Ben Dink's fours and sixes.
In the match being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, hosts Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar won the toss and invited the Karachi Kings to bat.

Karachi Kings suffered a loss in the beginning of the innings when Sharjeel Khan was run out after scoring just five runs.
After that, Alex Hales came along to help Babar Azam and the duo set up a partnership of 60 runs to bring the score to 70, Babar made 38 wickets for young Maud Khan.

Cameron Delport's wicket remained limited to 15 runs and he too was caught in the hands of Maaz Khan, while Iftikhar Ahmed's innings also resulted in a run-out.

After falling 4 wickets, Chadwick Walton came to support the Hales, who changed the course of the match with their aggressive batting.

Walton scored 45 runs off just 20 balls with 5 sixes and two fours, as well as a 93-run partnership of 39 balls, which gave the Karachi Kings 187 for 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.


Alex Hales also batted best, hitting an incredible 80 off 48 balls with 5 sixes and 6 fours.

Maaz Khan was the most successful bowler with two wickets from Lahore Qalandars.

In pursuit of a good target given by the Karachi Kings, pride of Lahore Qalandar Zaman came out at zero and created problems for the team.

Mohammad Hafeez supported skipper Sohail Akhtar to the total of 50 and gave Umar Khan a wicket with just 16 runs from 24 balls.

Sohail Akhtar continued his good batting for which he was aggressively supported by Ben Dink, and both batsmen completed their half centuries.

Ben Dink struck highs against Umar Khan and Karachi Kings captain Emad Wasim and completed his half-century off just 23 balls and batted charmingly.



Lahore Qalandars achieved the target of 2 wickets in the last over.Ben Dunk 99 and captain Sohail Akhtar were unbeaten on 68.Earlier, Lahore Qalandars have made two changes to their squad for the match and Usman Shinwari has been replaced by Dilbar Hussain, while Maja Khan has been added to Raja Farzan.

The Karachi Kings have made a change to their squad and Cameron Delport has been re-appointed as a replacement for Mitchell McKinleyan.
