The Corona virus has put Olympus 2020 in jeopardy and Canada has become the first country to withdraw from the Olympics.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also acknowledged for the first time that the Olympics could be postponed.
Australia has also said in a whisper that the Games cannot be held at the moment and has ordered its athletes to prepare for the 2021 Olympics.

The International Olympics Committee is expected to hold the Olympics in the next 4 weeks, but no immediate decision is expected.

The Olympics 2020 will be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, from July 24, with 11,000 athletes to attend.

The Olympics and Paralympics Committee of Canada says it has made the difficult decision to withdraw from the Olympics after consulting its athletes and the government.

Canada called on the International Olympics Committee and the World Health Organization to immediately announce a one-year postponement of the Games.

'We understand the complexities of the postponement of the Games but there is nothing more than the health and safety of the athletes and the world,' the statement said.

Canada later said in a message on Twitter that postpone games today, win the game.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been saying for several weeks that the games will be held on schedule, but now he is looking at flexibility.

Speaking in Parliament on Monday, he acknowledged for the first time that the Olympic Games could be postponed.

He said that holding the Olympics in the current situation is difficult, that the postponement of the Games is inevitable because the health of our athletes is a top priority.

Remember that in the days of peace the Olympics were never postponed or canceled and coincidentally the 1940 Olympics postponed due to World War II were to be held in Tokyo.

The Corona virus originated in Wuhan, China, where more than 3,000 deaths were reported in China alone.

Initially, the virus was restricted to China only, but later it spread rapidly to the Middle East and Europe, and Italy has the highest number of deaths of 5,476 so far.

So far, 14,790 people have been killed by the virus worldwide, while more than 300,000 have been infected.
