Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket teams played their second match of the Twenty20 series in Lahore today. The hosts won the match by nine wickets and so Pakistan won the three-match series.

The visiting Bangladesh cricket team decided to bat first after winning the toss in the second match played in Lahore. The guest team managed just 136 runs in the stipulated 20 overs - six players were out for the score. The highest score was Tamim Iqbal who scored fifty runs on turpentine hair.

The Bangladeshi team's wickets continue to decline and the team's players fail to raise the score at a fast and reasonable pace. Pakistan's Mohammad Hasnain dismissed two players. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Harris Rauf and Shadab Khan took one wicket each.

Pakistan started the match with a one-wicket loss to the target of 137 to win the match. Inaugural batsman Ahsan Khan lost the wicket without scoring a score of six. Shafiul Islam was out. After that Pakistan did not score any more wickets and achieved the desired target.

Pakistan's Twenty20 captains Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez scored 131 for the second wicket partnership. Both managed to make half a century. Babar Azam scored sixty-six for 40 balls and Mohammad Hafeez scored sixty-six on eight balls.

The match ended in the seventh over by the Pakistani batsmen. In this match, the three-match series was successfully won by the Pakistani team by two zeroes. The last and third match of the Twenty20 series will be played in Lahore on January 27. The first match was played in Rawalpindi.

Babar Azam was declared the best player of the match. Babar Azam was bowled out for the first time in a Twenty20 match. He described the success as a result of the team's overall outstanding performance. Bangladesh team captain Mohammadullah expressed disappointment over losing the match and said his team had reduced the score to at least 20 to 30.

The first five-day Test match between the two teams will be played in Rawalpindi. The match begins on February 7. Pakistan and Bangladesh cricket teams will play one-day matches in the current tour and the second test match in Karachi.
