The use of Microsoft
Office apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint is very common and now the company
has made it very easy for such users.
The Office Mobile App has been integrated by Microsoft to edit Excel,
PowerPoint and Word files all in one place without switching apps.
In addition to this new app it will also be possible to check the one-drive
files, scan real documents and read RQ codes.
This app has been
introduced for Android phones which has been testing for several months in
BetaVision.
According to Android Police, this app cannot be used in Landscape mode on
tablets or Chromebox as well as mobile devices, this app for iOS device is not
currently introduced.
Microsoft's move is an important step towards mobile productivity.
For years Microsoft and Google have been pushing for the use of separate apps
for everything, which has caused frequent apps to change.
